Sandra K Over

Sandra has worked at Hearing Care by Hough since 2024, after being retired from the field of audiology for seven years. Full-time retirement was wonderful, but she found herself missing the profession and helping others with their hearing healthcare needs.

She approached Monica and Dr. Hough, who are both friends and former colleagues, about part-time employment, because she believes they provide amazing services to their patients. Sandra has previously worked with audiologist Jeff Mashburn and patient coordinator Laina, and she respects their contributions as well as she considers them friends.

Working at Hearing Care by Hough is a pleasure for Sandra and reminds her very much of her early days as an audiologist when time constraints were not as stringent in healthcare. HC by H keeps a well-managed schedule, but, as it is her first time working in a private practice setting without the corporate requirements of annual training and extra paperwork, she finds it very relaxing. The providers have more time to get acquainted with our patients and their hearing care needs.

Sandra’s favorite thing about her role at HC by H is working with an experienced team of professionals who are kind and caring to patients and each other.
