Jeffery J. Mashburn

Jeff joined the Hearing Care by Hough team seven years ago. Dr. David Hough was his supervising audiologist for his first year, and they worked together at his father’s (Dr. Jack Hough) clinic for over 20 years. During that time, he learned that Dr. Jack Hough, Dr. David Hough, and he shared the same goal: to use their God-given talents and abilities to improve the lives of others.

After 28 years of service there, Jeff and his wife relocated to Arkansas, where he worked for four years but soon decided to move back home to Oklahoma. He called and asked David if he knew of any clinic that might need a seasoned (he prefers seasoned over old) audiologist. David responded, “Jeff, we need an audiologist,” so he joined the team in 2019 and is thankful to be here.

In previous roles, Jeff worked at other clinics that focused heavily on numbers and sales, but that is not why he became an audiologist, and he knew that was not Dr. Hough’s priority. That is why Hearing Care by Hough has been such an excellent fit for him. As a team, they leverage their experience, knowledge, and expertise to meet the needs of their patients. That has always been and will continue to be their mission.

Jeff finds it extremely gratifying to finish the day and recognize that God has given him the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others, especially as it relates to better hearing and enhancing communication in their personal and professional relationships.
